AUG 25, 2014 12:38p ET
'ACC Gridiron LIVE' presented by McAlister's Deli will make its debut Aug. 27 at 10 p.m. on FOX Sports South to take you inside the opening weekend in the conference.
Hosted by Emmy Award-winning James Bates, former NFLers Alge Crumpler and Coy Wire and coach Jim Grobe, current Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen will also appear each week as a contributor.
This week, the team looks at key storylines heading into the season, including whether defending national champion Florida State can repeat, if Clemson can reload, if Duke is for real and Louisville and Bobby Petrino joining the league.
Seminoles coach Jimbo Fisher sits down one-on-one with Grobe, while Petrino discusses why he returned to the Cardinals. Meanwhile, Clemson's Vic Beasley and Cole Stroudt talk about facing Georgia and Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston and P.J. Williams discuss the top-ranked Seminoles' date with Oklahoma State.
The 'ACC Gridiron LIVE' crew will also take viewers inside the Florida State-Oklahoma State game with a game preview and breakdown of Winston and Seminoles running back Karlos Williams. Vic Beasley is as the center of the Clemson-Georgia preview, while the Miami-Louisville lookahead includes pieces on new Cardinals quarterback Will Gardner, Miami running back Duke Johnson and the Hurricanes' QB situation.
The cast will also discuss the new College Football Playoff, make their picks for all 13 of the Week 1 ACC games and discuss the league's past with FOX Sports South's ACC Gridiron LIVE Greatest Player Tournament.
