MAY 23, 2014 10:20p ET
Seventh-seeded Arkansas trailed 7-6 after seven innings in Hoover, Alabama, but Brian Anderson's ninth-inning sacrifice fly lifted the Razorbacks to a 8-7 win over No. 2 seed Ole Miss on Friday.
Joe Serraro went 2 for 4 with three runs scored, while Eric Fisher had two hits and two RBI in the win.
Michael Gunn earned the win for Arkansas (38-22), pitching 1 2/3 innings and yielding one hit, while Jacob Stone took the save.
The Razorbacks earned a date with third-seeded LSU in Saturday's first semifinal game.
The Rebels entered having 41 wins, the second-most in school history and were 23-0 when scoring seven or more runs. But Arkansas' 10 hits, four of which were doubles, proved too much.
Florida 5, Mississippi State 1
Justin Shafer pitched the final 4 2/3 innings, holding up a 2-0 lead the Gators never relinquished in rolling by Mississippi State 5-1 to advance to the SEC semifinals.
Top-seeded Florida will now take on Kentucky on Saturday.
Harrison Bader led the Gators offense, going 3 for 5, while Peter Alonso drove in two runs.
