Wolves can shake up Stoke – Jarvis

Mick McCarthy’s side took a vital seven points from three games
before being edged out late on at Arsenal last time out. Next up is
a high noon showdown against Tony Pulis’ Potters, a team Wolves
drew 2-2 with earlier in the season, and Jarvis believes another
three-point haul is certainly achievable. The winger told the
Express & Star: “At their place, we fought back to get a point
which turned out to be a very good and deserved one. Since then
we’ve been playing very well, we’re working hard and are in a good
mood heading into the game. “We have also been converting the
chances created in recent games as well. We were unfortunate at
Arsenal, but confidence breeds more confidence and as every game
went by on that unbeaten run we felt better and better. “It helps
in every part of your game and despite losing to Arsenal we just
need to keep that going.” Wolves now lie five points above the drop
zone with five games left and Jarvis is confident of survival.
“We’ve always thought we would stay up and still think we can.
That’s why we’ve been fighting so hard and got ourselves into a
good position,” he added. “Now with five games to go, we just need
to keep it going and doing what we’ve been doing and we should be
OK. We’ve got five games left and want to get as many points as we
can. “Stoke is the first of those, so we’ll be trying to get a
result.”
