Watch Antoine Griezmann's picture perfect free kick fly in off the crossbar

Atletico Madrid were leading 1-0 against Sevilla after halftime when Antoine Griezmann stepped up 15 minutes into the second half to double the home side's lead with this unstoppable free kick.

It's perfect.

Power, placement, even a sexy little dip right at the end just before it goes flying in off the underside of the crossbar. Griezmann couldn't have hit this one much better and it couldn't have come at a much better time. It was his 13th goal in 2017, and excluding penalties, only Luis Suarez (14 goals all competitions) has scored more this year.

Koke's 77th minute strike all but assured the win for Atletico before Joaquin Correa pulled one back for Sevilla, but it was Griezmann's strike that determined proceedings. And it deserved it.

The win closes the gap between the two sides in the league table, leaving Atletico just two points behind Sevilla in fourth place as the fight for an automatic spot in next year's Champions League group stage continues.
