As part of a joint initiative between the Swedish Football Association and Adidas for International Women's Day, Sweden's national team players are ditching names on the back of their kits as they compete in the Algarve Cup. Instead, as part of the #InYourName campaign, they're displaying inspirational tweets from well-known Swedish women.

According to the Swedish FA, the messages are meant to "inspire and motivate other women to stand up for each other and themselves -- and to show that nothing is impossible." Sweden's players were asked to pick tweets from prominent women in the country, and each wears a different inspirational message on their back.

Swedish captain Lotta Schelin picked a message from Swedish politician Gudrun Schyman that reads “never look down on someone unless it is to help her up."

Midfielder Lisa Dahlkvist wears Zara Larsson's simple quote, "Believe in your damn self", while attacker Olivia Schough's jersey reads, "Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always."

The jerseys will go on sale March 8, International Women's Day and the day of the Algarve Cup final. Ten percent of the proceeds will go to a Swedish organization that supports young female athletes.
