Liverpool boss Rodgers praises Suarez despite scoring drought

The 27-year-old failed to find the net throughout February but he remains the league's top scorer with 23 goals after a blistering campaign so far.
His form has been crucial to the Reds' strong season as Rodgers' side look well on course to secure a return to Champions League football.
Suarez's tally of nine Premier League assists is the joint highest in the division, and Rodgers reckons that this reflects how pivotal his overall play has been to Liverpool's success.
"There has been a spotlight on him and that has been because of his goals," he said. "But I think it shows we are about the collective.
"Of the last 33 we have scored, he has got four but that doesn't diminish his influence on our team.
"Nearly 50 per cent of the goals we score either come from him or are assisted by him. It shows the influence he has and is also a great pointer to what he is.
"People maybe thought he played for himself but he has been a remarkable team player for us. His influence has not diminished.
"In December, everything he hit was going in but I think he's playing just as well now.
"What's happening is he's creating goals for others but working just as hard and, sometimes, they're not going in. But he's still got a great influence on the team.
"Listen, the best players work the hardest, there is no secret about that. In particular, at a place like this, you have got to work your socks off from the off. That is how we play."
Meanwhile, Daniel Sturridge has formed a deadly partnership with the Uruguayan, hitting 18 Premier League goals this season, but Rodgers says that there are still aspects of his play which are being worked on.
"Daniel's job is to create, score goals and press the ball, but we're looking to improve his game tactically," he said.
"He's already an incredible goalscorer but in the modern game you won't only be judged on that, you can't just be a player who stands up there and gets goals.
"So he's working very hard at understanding how to participate in the game in other ways tactically, when to press, when to be aggressive and so on.
"His numbers have been exceptional since he came here but there is obviously more than that."
