Nigeria draws with Saudi Arabia

Nigeria drew 0-0 with Saudi Arabia on Tuesday in a World Cup

warmup and the team’s first match under coach Lars Lagerback.

The former Sweden coach replaced Amodu Shaibu in March after

Nigeria had finished third at the African Cup.

Jon Obi Mikel and Onyekachi Apam were both missing for Nigeria

on Tuesday due to injury.

Nigeria plays Colombia in Luton, England, on Sunday, a day

before Lagerback announces his 23-man squad for the World Cup.

Nigeria is drawn in Group B with Argentina, Greece and South

Korea. Saudi Arabia failed to qualify for the tournament in South

Africa.
