Hungary beats Lithuania 2-0 in friendly

Hungary defeated Lithuania 2-0 in a friendly thanks to

second-half goals by Tamas Priskin and Balazs Dzsudzsak on

Wednesday.

Hungary dominated the first half with aggressive, quick attacks,

and clear scoring chances by Dzsudzsak and Adam Szalai were

thwarted by excellent saves from Lithuania goalkeeper Zydrunas

Karcemarskas.

The home team’s first goal came in the 61st minute. Priskin

received a header from Szalai and fired in from 11 meters

(yards).

Dzsudzsak scored in the 80th. Tamas Hajnal rolled the ball to

him on a free kick just outside the penalty area and the

midfielder’s low shot flew under Karcemarskas.
