English FA forced to throw out £25,000 worth of T-shirts because of Sam Allardyce

The English FA are throwing away 4,000 T-shirts they planned to give to fans for England’s game against Malta. Why? Because they have a quote from disgraced former manager Sam Allardyce on the front.

The FA wanted to mark the World Cup qualifier by giving away T-shirts printed with a quote from Allardyce on the day he took the England job: "The journey starts with us all pulling together."  It's a great quote, but given the fact that Allardyce only lasted on the job for 67 days before leaving due to corruption, bribery, et al., it's probably a good idea to scrap the shirts.

There was also scheduled to be a crowd tifo for Allardyce, but the FA have pulled that as well, scrapping around £25,000 worth of promotional materials for the Malta match.

Maybe they can take that £25k out of the £400,000 Big Sam made off his shady side business deals.
