Club America extended their 100 percent start in the Torneo Apertura to four games with a 2-0 win away to Tigres Monterrey.

Mexico striker Oribe Peralta's first-half goal set the early league leaders on their way and World Cup colleague Miguel Layun scored just after the hour mark to make the points safe.

Queretaro are second in the fledgling standings after William's late goal gave them a 3-2 win at Santos Laguna, their third success in four games.

Camilo, with a penalty, and Emilio Lopez struck as Queretaro overhauled Jorge Tavares' opener and though Javier Orozco Penuelas leveled for Santos, William had the final say.

Chiapas also continued their bright start to the season by coming from 2-0 down to dramatically beat 10-man Leon 3-2.

Carlos Pena and Mauro Boselli gave Leon a two-goal interval lead but Bruno Pereira Pires and Emiliano Armenteros drew Chiapas level. After Leon had Edwin Hernandez sent off, Franco Arizala Hurtado scored the winner.

Pachuca beat Guadalajara 3-0, Ariel Nahuelpan scoring twice before Guadalajara substitute Alberto Garcia was sent off and Hirving Lozano netted a late third.

Puebla's Michael Orozco endured a nightmare day as his side lost 1-0 to Cruz Azul. Orozco's 31st-minute own goal decided the match and he was then sent off 12 minutes after half-time.
