Ajax did an amazing side-by-side of two famous goals

Ajax scored an incredible team goal over the weekend as Davy Klaassen scored a fantastic outside of the boot screamer against domestic rivals PSV Eindhoven. The best part? It was a carbon copy of Finidi George's fantastic strike against Bayern Munich in the 1995 UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg.

Ajax thought the same, and put together a picture-perfect side-by-side of the two goals, underlining just how uncannily similar they are.

It's breathtaking. Everything about the two goals is identical, from the dummy, the outside of the boot strike, and the placement. They're 21 years apart, and the stakes are much different, but the Ajax spirit is just as strong as when George's laser helped carry de Godenzonen to the Champions League final over two decades ago.

Ajax didn't win this one, as Siem De Jong's 80th minute strike rescued a point for the visitor, but the Klaassen's goal is forever immortalized in the Ajax pantheon. And for good reason.
