Tip(s) of the week
FC Dallas, Houston, San Jose, Los Angeles, Real Salt Lake, and Columbus are all idle. Start adding players that play twice in Week 22.
This weeks Top XI for points
Goalkeeper: Bouna Coundoul (COL)
It's Bouna Time! The 26-year old from Senegal has 5 clean sheets to his name this year. With a home game against Toronto, look for him to add his 6th.
Defender: Facundo Erpen (COL)
Coundoul's teammate has been a big reason for his 5 clean sheets so far this season. With 6 goals and 5 assists in his career, Erpen is also a threat to add points offensively.
Defender: Chris Albright (NE)
The 29-year old in his 10th MLS season has always been a threat out of the back, as his 11 goals and 20 assists attest to. With a home game against Chicago, look for him to help add another clean sheet for Matt Reis.
Defender: Kevin Goldthwaite (NY)
Playing a home game against a D.C. United team that has only scored 5 goals away from home all season; the Notre Dame alumnus has a good chance to add shutout points to your team this week.
Midfielder: Jorge Rojas (NY)
Teaming up with Juan Pablo Angel in the Red Bulls lineup, the 31-year old Venezuelan national team player has 2 assists in his first 2 games in MLS. Look for him to add more this week with a home game against D.C. United.
Midfielder: Christian Gomez (COL)
The 33-year old Argentinian looked very good in the All Star Game versus West Ham. With a home game against Toronto, look for the 3 time Best XI MLS player to add to his 3 goals and 6 assists on the season.
Midfielder: Steve Ralston (NE)
The 13-year vet may be having his best season yet in MLS. With 6 goals and 4 assists so far, look for the leagues career assist leader to add to those totals with a home game against Chicago.
Midfielder: Cuauhtemoc Blanco (CHI)
He looked great in the All Star game, and has had 2 weeks off now to rest his body. Look for the veteran of 2 World Cups to add to his totals of 4 goals and 6 assists.
Forward: Juan Pablo Angel (NY)
The former Aston Villa striker has been teaming up well as of late with his new teammate Rojas. With a home game against D.C. United, look for Angel to add to his 4 goals and 2 assists.
Forward: Kheli Dube (NE)
After starting out strong, the 25-year old from Zimbabwe has tailed off recently. Look for him to bounce back this week with a home game against Chicago.
Forward: Luciano Emilio (DCU)
Even though they have only scored 5 goals on the road this season, we can't bet against Emilio in this game. With 11 goals and 2 assists on the season, he is on a tear to match his 2007 MVP season.
