Rumor: To Tottenham // Likelihood: Done deal // If you like a gamble, Get Your Money on this. Tim Sherwood is on his way out of Tottenham according to reports, and it seems a straight race between Louis van Gaal and Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino. After announcing his departure from the Netherlands job, van Gaal told Algemeen Dagblad: "After two years I'm totally sick of being national coach." The Dutchman would be an ideal candidate, having won titles with Ajax, AZ, Bayern Munich and Barcelona.

Rumor: Tottenham to Barcelona, PSG or Atletico // Likelihood: If they’re prepared to pay // Spurs boss Tim Sherwood slapped a Dynamite price tag onto his star goalkeeper last week. The under-fire manager rates his shot stopper at £100 million. Only an outstanding amount of money would see Lloris go this summer, but anything can happen when PSG are linked. The France international has been in superb form and is probably one of the best in the world at the moment.

Rumor: Bayern Munich to Manchester United // Likelihood: Slow burner // This is a rumor that just won’t go away. Toni Kroos is growing Impatient over the lack of movement on a new contract at Bayern – he wants a deal that would see him match some of the highest earners at the club. Manchester United is reportedly monitoring his situation and could swoop as part of the overhaul of their squad. We can see this being a drawn out saga, ala Gareth Bale.

Rumor: Porto to Manchester City // Likelihood: The shoe fits // Manchester City is crying out for a new center-back for next season and this Mangala story keeps on rolling. Martin Demichelis has had some poor games this year and Manuel Pellegrini doesn’t appear to hold faith with Joleon Lescott. If Pellegrini can get a partner for the Fantastic Vincent Kompany, then City should have a better campaign next time round.

Rumor: Chelsea to PSG // Likelihood: Nope // Chelsea has invested time and effort into their three attacking midfielders. Following the departure of Juan Mata and Kevin de Bruyne, it would come as a shock if they were to let Hazard, Oscar or Willian leave in the summer transfer window. With Mourinho at the helm, it seems likely that more Great Times Are Coming, and who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?

Rumor: Southampton to Manchester United // Likelihood: Nailed on // Patrice Evra’s departure from Old Trafford is looking likely and United will want to line up a replacement pronto. Luke Shaw looks a probable acquisition – with the homegrown player quota in force for Premier League clubs, his age and talent, it looks a likely deal for the Red Devils. Shaw is rated highly on the south coast of England and will have to be a Saints Heartbreaker to secure his move.

Rumor: Paris Saint-Germain to Chelsea // Likelihood: He’s only just got there! // Along with the likes of Radamel Falcao and Gareth Bale’s moves, Edinson Cavani transfer rumors dominated the back pages of many a newspaper before his move to PSG. It’s set to be another turbulent summer of transfers and Cavani could again be the focal point after just 12 months at his new club. Chelsea is reportedly desperate for a new striker in the window and Mourinho is an admirer of Cavani’s talent. About his PSG future, Cavani told French newspaper L’Equipe: “I am in Paris, but there are certainly things we must talk about with the club, things should be done differently.” Chelsea certainly wouldn’t be a Fall Down in his career.

Rumor: Chelsea to Atletico Madrid // Likelihood: Possible // After being Far Away From Home, Fernando Torres could be returning to where it all began. The Spaniard scored 82 goals in 214 games for Atletico Madrid and it would be fitting that he went back after much success in England. Although Torres hasn’t enjoyed his best years recently, nobody can argue with his impressive array of honors, including Champions League and World Cup success. If Diego Costa leaves Atletico – which seems likely – then it would make perfect sense.

Rumor: Leverkusen to Liverpool // Likelihood: Not this season // Liverpool has all but qualified for next season’s Champions League and will be shopping in the same pool of players as other European heavyweights. Julian Brandt is no doubt a hot prospect, but would Rodgers use a big chunk of his budget to sign a 17-year-old that’s only just broken into the Leverkusen team? The Reds manager will no doubt continue to monitor his progress at Leverkusen and then pick him up at a later date when he says: I’m Ready.
Rumor: Liverpool to Manchester City // Likelihood: Not a chance // It’s official: The World Is Crazy. Fees for players have rocketed beyond belief in recent years and, it wouldn’t be a surprise if City owner Sheikh Mansour put his hand in his pocket to make a world-record bid for Suarez. However, Liverpool chief Ian Ayre has made it clear the Uruguayan isn’t for sale, and they’re set to satisfy his demands of Champions League football.
