Everton and Liverpool split the points in Brendan Rodgers’ final match in charge on Sunday. Danny Ings nodded past Howard four minutes before the break, but Romelu Lukaku equalized on the stroke of halftime to draw Everton level. Howard carried out his usual duties in goal.

América ended a two-game losing streak with a 2-1 victory over Chiapas on Saturday. Alvarado watched from the bench once again as Michael Arroyo’s goal three minutes after the break secured the full complement of points.
Michael Orozco, Club Tijuana defender
Queretaro continued Tijuana’s spiral down the Liga MX table by securing a 2-1 victory on Friday. Yerson Candelo and Emanuel Villa staked Gallos Blancos to a two-goal lead. Dayro Moreno issued a late response for Tijuana, but his goal did not prompt the necessary second. Orozco played for the first hour before departing as the Xolos chased the game.
Tim Ream, Fulham defender
Charlton staged a two-goal comeback in the final 10 minutes to hold Fulham to a 2-2 draw at the Valley on Sunday. Ream once again featured in the heart of defense for Kit Symons’ side, but the Cottagers eventually shipped goals to Johnnie Jackson and Jordan Cousins to settle for an away point.

Jonathan Spector, Birmingham City defender
Birmingham City continued their fine form away from St. Andrews with a 2-0 victory at Leeds United. Spector entered for the final 15 minutes to protect Demarai Gray’s goal just after the half-hour. Jacques Maghoma guaranteed the points with his late second. Birmingham City now sits fourth in the Championship after 10 rounds.

DeAndre Yedlin, Sunderland defender
Yedlin made his first Premier League start for Sunderland in the 2-2 draw with West Ham United on Saturday. Sunderland eventually squandered a two-goal lead to settle for a draw in Dick Advocaat’s final match in charge. Yedlin’s place in the side remains uncertain as the club searches for a new manager in the wake of Advocaat’s resignation.
Alejandro Bedoya, Nantes midfielder
Heavy rain forced match officials to postpone the match between Nice and Nantes on Saturday. Bedoya featured from the outset and played the first 46 minutes. The inclement weather forced the stoppage with the match tied 2-2.
Mönchengladbach continued their recent revival with a 2-0 victory over Wolfsburg on Saturday. Johnson played the first 69 minutes in midfield and procured a yellow card as Gladbach eased to the points and pulled four points clear of the relegation zone.

Danny Williams, Reading midfielder
Williams headed home inside the opening minute as promotion contenders Reading secured a 2-0 victory over Middlesbrough on Saturday. The early goal -- combined with Nick Blackman’s late penalty -- proved enough to carry Reading to the points on the day. Williams featured for the entire affair as the Royals moved to third in the Championship table.
