SAN DIEGO — Two diehard Chargers fan groups, "Bolt Pride" and Save our Bolts," are making one last emotional push to keep the team in San Diego with the San Diego Love Letter Challenge. Fans across the county are participating, as well as some notable names in the community. This all happening following the news that the Chargers and Rams are currently negotiating a deal to move the team to Los Angeles for 2016, which both sides agreed to stay quiet about until an agreement of some sort is reached or not reached.
On Wednesday, FOX Sports San Diego and the San Diego Padres announced the 2016 Spring Training Boradcast schedule which includes nine games from Peoria and one from El Paso. The schedule kicks off with the Padres hosting the World Series champs on March 4.
While the Anaheim Ducks assigned Simon Despres to the San Diego Gulls on a long term conditioning loan as he returns from a concussion he suffered earlier this season, Brian McGrattan took the worst in a serious fight that left him knocked out on the ice. Thankfully he was okay and tweeted out to fans later that night to show appreciation for their support.
