Welterweight Champion Woodley and Former Middleweight Champion Bisping Serve as Desk Analysts with Lead UFC Host Bryant

LOS ANGELES, CA – Today, FOX Sports announces that UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier (@dc_mma) joins blow-by-blow announcer Jon Anik (@Jon_Anik) to call FOX UFC FIGHT NIGHT: LAWLER VS. DOS ANJOS live from Winnipeg, Canada on Saturday, Dec. 16. Victor Davila (@mastervic10) and Marlon Vera (@chitoveraUFC) have the call in Spanish on FOX Deportes.

UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley (@TWooodley) and former middleweight champion Michael Bisping (@Bisping) work as desk analysts along with lead UFC host Karyn Bryant (@KarynBryant) and reporter Megan Olivi (@MeganOlivi) in Winnipeg for Friday and Saturday’s coverage.

In the main event on FOX, former UFC lightweight champion and No. 3 ranked welterweight Rafael Dos Anjos (27-9) has looked better than ever since moving up to the 170-pound division, rattling off back-to-back wins. He gets the opportunity to prove he’s ready for a potential title fight when he battles former welterweight champion Robbie Lawler (28-11, 1NC). The No. 1-ranked welterweight Lawler showed off his “Ruthless” form in a July win over Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and is looking for another shot at the belt with a win Saturday. FOX UFC analysts Kenny Florian and Rashad Evans preview the fight from last Sunday’s FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT POSTFIGHT SHOW here. (link to come Monday)

FS1’s UFC programming starts on Wednesday, Dec. 13 with UFC TONIGHT airing at a special time, 7:00 PM ET, with host Florian and guest host Woodley interviewing Lawler and Ricardo Lamas about their Saturday fights. On Friday, Dec. 15 (7:00 PM ET), the FS1 UFC WEIGH-IN SHOW begins with Bryant, Woodley and Bisping discussing the fighters, and Olivi reporting. The same crew gets things started on Saturday at 4:00 PM ET with the FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT PREFIGHT SHOW, previewing the evening’s fights.

The three-hour UFC FIGHT NIGHT PRELIMS on FS1 and FOX Deportes begin at 5:00 PM ET and feature six thrilling bouts. No. 15-ranked light heavyweight Jan Blachowicz (20-7) and No. 14 Jared Cannonier (10-2) collide. Middleweight Julian Marquez (6-1) takes on Darren Stewart (7-2, 1NC), while welterweight Chad Laprise (13-2) fights Galore Bofando (5-2). No. 11-ranked flyweight Tim Elliott (15-8-1) battles Pietro Menga (13-0). John Makdessi (14-6) and Abel Trujillo (15-6, 1NC) face each other at 155 pounds. Alessio Di Chirico (10-1) and Oluwale Bamgbose (6-3) open the PRELIMS with a middleweight scrap.

Saturday’s two-hour main card (FOX, 8:00 PM ET), also features No. 3-ranked featherweight Ricardo Lamas (18-5) facing Josh Emmett (12-1). No. 10-ranked welterweight Santiago Ponzinibbio (25-3) and Mike Perry (11-1) square off. Plus, No. 3-ranked light heavyweight Glover Teixeira (26-6) and No. 7 Misha Cirkunov (13-3) open the main card.

Saturday’s action wraps up after the main event with the UFC FIGHT NIGHT POSTFIGHT SHOW on FS1.
