2017 Foster Farms Bowl Set for Wednesday, Dec. 27, at 8:30 PM ET on FOX Broadcast Network and FOX Deportes
NEW YORK, NY – FOX Sports and the San Francisco 49ers today announced the return of the Foster Farms Bowl set for Wednesday, Dec. 27, at 8:30 PM ET on the FOX broadcast network and in Spanish on FOX Deportes, Coverage of the game, which annually features teams from the Big Ten and Pac-12, begins at 8:00 PM ET with the FOX COLLEGE FOOTBALL KICKOFF pregame show on FOX.
“We are excited to once again showcase the Foster Farms Bowl on broadcast television and in Spanish on FOX Deportes,” said Larry Jones, FOX Sports Executive Vice President, Business Operations. “Last year’s game went down to the wire, and we look forward to another great showdown in 2017.”
FOX Sports announced an agreement with the Foster Farms Bowl in 2016 and aired last year’s game on broadcast television for the first time ever. Played at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., the Foster Farms Bowl annually features top teams from the Big Ten and Pac-12 conferences and also includes a day of community service performed by players and coaches from the participating teams, as fighting hunger within the community remains a staple of the yearly event. Foster Farms serves as the title sponsor of the bowl game for the fourth consecutive season.
During the 2017 season, FOX Sports televises top games from the Big 12, Big Ten and Pac-12 conferences. FOX Sports is home to some of the most anticipated matchups of the season, including Ohio State at Michigan, Oklahoma State at Oklahoma in the annual Bedlam rivalry, and Texas at USC in the first rematch of the 2006 BCS National Championship Game.
