Emmy-Award Winning GARBAGE TIME WITH KATIE NOLAN Continues to Draw Huge Social Audience

Last night, FS1 original program GARBAGE TIME WITH KATIE NOLAN took home the Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Social TV Experience, and last week’s Season 3 premiere episode was a perfect example of why.

Clips from last week’s episode, which premiered Wednesday, May 4, has so far attracted more than half a million views (540,457) on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, FOXSports.com, FOX Sports GO, Instagram and the show’s podcast platforms. The episode featured Katie’s Deflategate parody of Beyoncé’s “Lemonade” and the launch of a crowd-funding campaign to buy Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz a bench in New York City’s Central Park as a retirement gift. Despite overwhelming the Central Park website with traffic, causing a brief shut-down, the campaign reached its $10,000 goal Friday night, not long before Ortiz was ejected in the ninth inning of that night’s Yankees-Red Sox matchup.

GARBAGE TIME WITH KATIE NOLAN returns to FS1 tonight at Midnight ET. Katie thanks fans and supporters who contributed to Big Papi’s bench, plays Call of Duty with Seattle Seahawks All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman, and talks with comedian Michael Ian Black about his new comedy special and #SPORTSFACTS tweets.
