GROWING UP ON THE PITCH

A native of Norwood, N.Y., Hildreth ventured south following high school to attend Emory University in Atlanta. While at Emory, she lettered in basketball, soccer and track and field. A former goalkeeper, Hildreth started two seasons in net for the Eagles (1995, 1997), posting a 14-10-1 record, four shutouts, 68 career saves and a 1.11 goals against average. Her win and career save totals rank ninth and 10th all-time in school history, respectively. She also participated as a member of the basketball and track and field teams during her time at Emory.

BUILDING A CAREER

Hildreth laid down roots in the Peach State after graduating from Emory, gaining her first professional experience as a high school sports reporter for the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Through her connection to the paper, she received an on-camera opportunity, making her debut as an anchor and reporter for the AJC’s “High School Sports Show” in 2001. In 2003, she joined Comcast Sports Southeast’s coverage of the Atlanta Beat, serving as color analyst for regional broadcast of the team’s Women’s United Soccer Association contests. Soon after, Hildreth signed on with FOX Sports South, serving as a sideline reporter for the regional network’s college football telecasts in the Southeastern and Atlantic Coast Conferences, and later adding duties as the lead color analyst for the its presentation of SEC and ACC women’s soccer games. In 2008, she was named the host of FOX Sports South’s “ACC All-Access,” where she also won an Emmy for outstanding feature reporting. Most recently, she has maintained a presence in her dynamic role covering college athletics for FSS, including play-by-play for soccer and basketball, while also appearing as a reporter during Atlanta Braves games and in the pre-game and post-game shows. During her career, Hildreth has also appeared on ESPNU, the SEC Network, The Big Ten Network and as a color commentator for FOX Soccer Channel’s “WPS Sunday on FSC” broadcasts.
