UFC Play-by-Play Announcer & Host

Brendan Fitzgerald serves as play-by-play announcer for UFC FIGHT NIGHT events on FS1. He joined the UFC in the summer of 2017 with the debut of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series on UFC Fight Pass.

Prior to joining the UFC and FOX Sports, Fitzgerald covered college sports as a studio host at ESPNU, handling halftime shows, anchoring SportsCenterU, hosting College Football Daily, and covering numerous NCAA championship events throughout the year.

Before making the jump to a sports network, Brendan served as main sports anchor at WFXT FOX 25 in his hometown of Boston, MA. Covering the four major Boston teams allowed him to be front and center for the Red Sox 2013 World Series title, the Bruins’ run to the 2013 Stanley Cup Final, Super Bowl XLVIII, and the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013.

His broadcasting career has also included stops in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas, Casper, Wyoming, and Phoenix, Arizona. Before breaking into sports media, Brendan worked at a sportsbook on the Las Vegas Strip.

A native of Sandwich, Massachusetts, Brendan grew up on Cape Cod before attending Ithaca College in Upstate New York. He currently lives in Las Vegas with his beautiful wife Amy and son Zachary.
