Will Smith‘s athletic prowess — or lack thereof — once took him all the way from West Philadelphia to Bel Air, Calif.

The movie star’s latest sports mishap shouldn’t have such drastic consequences, especially since his son Jayden Smith was there to bail him out. The Smiths put their soccer skills to the test at an event ahead of the UEFA Champions League final in London over the weekend.

The elder Smith tried to score from the penalty spot, but he horribly scuffed his shot and sent the ball sideways.

Jayden’s soccer skills are a bit sharper. He easily scored on his first attempt (with dad’s help, of course), ensuring there would be no little fight, no moms getting scared and no moving in with an auntie or uncle. See Smith’s woeful miss in the video below.
