Prado Might Be Out for a While

No one wants to hear about excuses, like why the Braves squandered a seven-game lead in late July and allowed the Philadelphia Phillies to win the National League East for the fourth straight season.

But we saw once again Monday night the injury bug hit this Braves team. Martin Prado made a Graig Nettles-like diving play at third base in the fourth inning when he robbed Dan Uggla of an extra-base hit.

Then in the bottom of the fifth Prado aggravated a hip pointer on an at bat that first hit him on the diving catch. He left the game with help from trainer Jim Lovell.
