Wild free kick seals Tenn. title game

Luke Strebel had a last chance to prevent a Tennessee state
championship soccer match from going to penalty kicks.

With the match knotted at 1 and overtime seconds away from
ending, Strebel had a free kick from 54 yards away. And he found
net, giving Father Ryan the crown.

“I wasn’t even expecting it,” Strebel told
The
Tennessean
. “I just kind of served it in, hoping my guys
get a head on it like they always do, and just put it right in. I
still don’t know how it happened. I’m in
shock.”

Strebel even found some
fame on Twitter as
people responded to his boot.
