Tpyos can happen to abynody. Everyone understands that. Why, when I was a cub reporter, one of my editors pulled me aside one day and said, "Just so you know, the word 'possession' has four Ss in it. Work on that."

So I empathize with the poor Hoover, Ala., cheerleader who misspelled "responsible" in huge lettering on this giant poster . . .

Count even Larry Legend among the many victims in some of sports biggest spelling screw-ups.

Hoover is home to the defending Class 6A Alabama state champions, and everybody's awfully proud. That's understandable. So they rolled out this thing for a preseason scrimmage against Florence, and this came out.

Spelling, it turns out, is not a high priority in Alabama.

What are the odds that this cheerleader is named Krymson?
