Braxton Miller says he plans to return for his senior season

Miller told SI.com that he plans to return for his

senior season, but

wouldn’t guarantee it 100 percent, saying he needed time to mill over

the decision. There’s also a strong expectation within the Ohio State

program that Miller will be back, although [Urban] Meyer said he hasn’t

broached the topic with his quarterback yet. “I love Braxton Miller,”

Meyer said.

Last week, former Ohio State quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith told FOX Sports Ohio that he would tell Miller to “definitely come back” for his senior season at Ohio State and wait until 2015 to enter the NFL Draft.

“He has good talent, he’s a good person and he deserves the chance not just to go to the NFL, but to go when he’s best prepared and in the best spot,” Smith said. “If I was him, I’d come back.

“What we think and what might be the best move for one guy isn’t always what’s best for another. He’ll look at everything. Who knows what’s going on in his head or what he’s hearing, but I would tell him to come back.”
