Look out for

The Braves are 5-0 since Chipper Jones joined Twitter (@RealCJ10), including a three-game sweep of the Phillies. That put them 13 games over .500 for the first time this season, but they’re four games behind the first-place Nationals. … The Braves are 0-12 on Monday and have a winning record on every other day of the week. … The Braves continue their 10-game homestand with four games against the Marlins and the Astros, who ended a 12-game losing streak on Sunday. … The trade deadline is 4 p.m. Tuesday, and the Braves are still looking for a starting pitcher, a backup outfielder and perhaps a reliever. They missed out on Zack Greinke, who went to the Angels on Friday and Francisco Liriano, who went to the White Sox on Saturday. Reportedly, they’re still working on landing Ryan Dempster from the Cubs. … Kris Medlen is scheduled to make his first start of the season on Tuesday.

Who’s hot

Relievers Chad Durbin, Craig Kimbrel, Christian Martinez, Medlen, Eric O’Flaherty and Jonny Venters haven’t given up a run in the past 16 1/3 combined innings. Together, they’ve struck out 21 batters and given up six hits and walked three in that span. … Chipper Jones is 12-for-35 (.343) in his past 10 games, with three doubles, three home runs and nine RBIs. He homered against the Phillies on Sunday for his 1,042nd extra-base hit, second all-time for switch hitters behind Eddie Murray, who has 1,099. … Brian McCann has eight home runs and 19 RBIs in his past 20 games. … Jason Heyward is hitting .333 (7-for-21) with one homer, four RBIs and a steal in his past six games. … Freddie Freeman is hitting .299 and has 17 RBIs in his past 25 games. … Marlins SS Jose Reyes is hitting .339 (21-for-62) on his 16-game hitting streak.

Who’s not

Dan Uggla’s slump shows little signs of coming to an end. Even though he had a run-scoring double on Sunday, Uggla is 16-for-139 (.115) with three doubles, two home runs, 10 RBIs and 56 strikeouts since June 5. He’s 1-for-24 with 10 strikeouts in his past eight games. … Tommy Hanson is going for his career-high 12th victory, but needs to bounce back from his last start, when he walked seven, allowed seven stolen bases and walked seven in a win over the Marlins last week. His ERA has risen from 3.32 on June 15 to 4.39. … Michael Bourn has five hits in his past 26 at-bats (.192) with eight strikeouts. He’s hitting .255 this month.

Atlanta: P Brandon Beachy (Tommy John surgery) will be out until next summer; SS Andrelton Simmons (finger), SS Jack Wilson (finger) and OF Matt Daiz (thumb) are on the 15-day DL.

On the farm

Sean Gilmartin, the first-round pick in 2011 who was recently promoted to Triple-A Gwinnett, is scheduled to start against Charlotte on Monday night. He was 5-8 with a 3.54 ERA, striking out 86 and walking 26 in 119 1/3 innings at Double-A Mississippi. … J.R. Graham, a 2011 fourth-round pick out of Santa Clara University, has allowed two runs in his first 10 innings at Mississippi. He held Mobile to two hits in five innings on Thursday, striking out eight. … Evan Gattis has returned to Mississippi after finishing his rehab assignment from a wrist injury. … Peter Moylan has been promoted to Gwinnett, where he is on the DL with shoulder tendinitis.
