ASU announces changes to 2011 football schedule

Arizona State announced two changes to its 2011 football schedule, moving the home game against California from Oct. 22 to Nov. 26, and the season-ending home game against Arizona from Nov. 26 to Dec. 3.

Vice president for athletics Lisa Love said the changes allow for two strategically placed bye dates and maximized potential television exposure.

The moves create a bye date in the middle of the season on Oct. 22 and one on Nov. 12, prior to facing USC at home on November 19. The Sun Devils conclude their season with three consecutive home games: USC, California and Arizona.

The schedule remains subject to change.
