With the gold medal already his, Shaun White laid down a victory lap to remember — a perfect one.

White earned his fifth consecutive superpipe gold Sunday night, earning a perfect 100 on his third and final run.

Says White: "It's unreal. I've been wanting that 100 forever."

He scored a 94.00 on his first run and wiped out on his second run, but no one could catch him. Iouri Podladtchikov finished second, followed by Ryo Aono.

With the gold, White is the third Winter X five-peat athlete, joining Nate Holland in snowboardcross and Tucker Hibbert in snowcross.

White competed despite a left ankle injury that forced him to withdraw from the slopestyle competition.

Earlier in the competition, Heath Frisby landed the first ever front flip of a snowmobile at the Winter X Games.

The 27-year-old Frisby landed the trick in his first run during the best trick competition, earning the gold medal.

"It's been everything really," Frisby said during the ESPN telecast. "We got it! We got it!"

His feat came immediately after Justin Hoyer was injured attempting a double back flip in the previous run. X Games spokesman Danny Chi said Hoyer fractured his left ankle and right forearm and was being discharged from the hospital.
