Brian Dunseth, a former Major League Soccer and U.S. National Team player, joins the MLS Saturday on FSC team as a sideline reporter this season.

After starring at Cal State Fullerton, Brian joined the New England Revolution as a defender in 1997 and spent four-and-a-half seasons with the squad. He later saw action with five other MLS squads before retiring in 2006 with totals of five goals and six assists in his eight-year career. Brian also briefly left the league in 2004 to play for Swedish side Bodens BK.

As captain of the 2000 U.S. Olympic team in Sydney, Brian led the Americans to a fourth-place place finish, marking the first time they had progressed past the group stages of the event. He also earned numerous call-ups to the U.S. Senior National Team.

Since 2006, Brian has provided TV and radio commentary for Real Salt Lake, and previously served as a host on Salt Lake City radio station KALL 700AM.

Along with former teammate Ben Hooper, he is the co-owner of Bumpy Pitch, a clothing line dedicated to the love of the beautiful game, while Brian also publishes a soccer website, TheOriginalWinger.com.
