Olympic village hotel flooded with water after apparent leak

It's unclear exactly what went wrong in Rio on Thursday night and early Friday morning, but it appears at least one stairwell/wing of the lodgings in the Olympic village is on its way to being underwater.

Czech Olympic cyclist Zdenek Stybar posted an Instagram video of a torrential downpour of water falling in the team's "house" in Rio (presumably the hotel).

There are holes to fill in here, but it looks like it was a clear night in Rio, and barring some other weird possibility, this appears to be the result of a gigantic plumbing failure or break in the hotel's water main.

So, uh, chalk up another strike for the Olympic Village. At least this one wasn't a fire-robbery, so, silver lining there.
