Lee, Dutch men set skating records

CALGARY, Alberta (AP)

South Korea's Lee Sang-hwa broke her own world speedskating record in the 500 meters, and the Netherlands bettered its own mark in the men's pursuit Saturday at the Olympic Oval.

Lee finished in 36.74 seconds to top the record of 36.80 she set in Calgary on Jan. 20.

The Netherlands had a time of 3:37.17, breaking the mark of 3:37.80 set in Salt Lake City in 2007.

American Shani Davis won the men's 1,000.
