US Olympian Sage Kotsenburg has been living the good life since taking home gold in snowboard slopestyle at the 2014 Winter Olympics last week.
But after countless media appearances in both Sochi and New York, the 20-year-old just wanted to go home.
A stranger apparently made that happen Friday night, as Kotsenburg tweeted that a man named Gregory Keller had given up his seat on a flight to Utah so the snowboarder could see his family.
A man gave me his ticket so I could get on a flight home to see my mom and dad tonight! Gregory Keller words can not describe! THANK YOU!!!— sage kotsenburg (@sagekotsenburg) February 15, 2014
I only have 1 day with my parents at home too so I am extra excited I get to see them!!!!!— sage kotsenburg (@sagekotsenburg) February 15, 2014
The week of media bombardment hasn’t dampened Kotsenburg's excitement, though. He even stopped to take a selfie with the plane’s pilot. What a guy.
