CLEVELAND, OHIO — Earlier this year, SportsTime Ohio introduced "Revealed", a feature program that takes fans up close and personal with an influential member of our sports community. The first show, Nick Swisher: Revealed, highlighted the life of the Cleveland Indians first baseman. Now, the network is excited to announce a new edition of the show featuring Indians Manager Terry Francona.
Terry Francona: Revealedpremieres Sunday, June 15th at 5:00pm on SportsTime Ohio.
As we celebrate Father’s Day, you won’t want to miss this special program that highlights the incredible bond between Terry and his father and former MLB player Tito Francona.
In this new thirty minute special, Terry talks about his passion for the game of baseball and shares stories of his life and career path. He knew he was going to be a big league player from a very young age, and within a year of being drafted by the Montreal Expos in 1980, he made it to the Major Leagues. Within a few years, however, Terry’s professional career was hampered by injuries. Recognizing his playing career would never reach its full potential, Terry began to pay close attention to the game the same way his coaches and managers did, thus setting him on his path to managing.
The show features stories shared by Terry’s father Tito as well as Indians President Mark Shapiro, General Manager Chris Antonetti and Coach Kevin Cash, and even some of Terryâs personal friends from his hometown of New Brighton, PA.
That and much more will be Revealed on Sunday, June 15th at 5:00pm.
Following the debut, the special will replay the following week (see below) and throughout the Indians season. Check local listings.
