T.J. House sent down to Columbus

CLEVELAND — The Indians have made a roster move before Friday’s game against the White Sox, optioning T.J. House to Columbus and recalling Austin Adams.

Adams, 27, has spent the entire season with the Clippers, going 2-1 with 2 saves and a 2.29 ERA in 30 relief appearances). He has not allowed a run since May 26, recording 13 straight scoreless appearances since May 29 (17 1/3 innings pitched).

The Tribe will still have to make a move before tomorrow’s game as Zach McAllister will get the start. McAllister is currently assigned to Columbus.
