Roby's charges reduced to disorderly conduct

Ohio State cornerback Bradley Roby has had his misdemeanor assault charge reduced to disorderly conduct.
Roby was arrested after an early-morning bar incident in Bloomington, Ind., in July. The reduction in charges could mean a reduction in discipline from Ohio State coach Urban Meyer.
After his arrest, Roby was barred from attending Big Ten Media Days and a university release said he was subject to further discipline. When the subject has been broached, Meyer has said he's waiting for facts.
Roby, a fourth-year junior, was in the picture with the Buckeyes seniors taken at last week's team picture day. He's a first-round NFL draft prospect and an All-American candidate.
In the one practice open to media this month, Roby was playing with the second-team defense.
The Columbus Dispatch was first to report the news of his reduced charge.
