According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Cleveland Browns have made it their top priority to re-sign veteran center Alex Mack.

Have to agree with Rapoport that this would be a very smart move for the Cleveland Browns. With the very high possibility that the Browns will have a rookie quarterback under center next year, having a veteran like Mack to help them transition into the pro game would be huge.

The Browns have a laundry list of decisions to make this season, but the re-signing of Alex Mack would be a great start.

Mack has started every game for the Browns over the last five seasons and Rapoport reported earlier this month that with Michael Lombardi and Joe Banner being fired, Mack has a "better chance" of returning to Cleveland.
