Ohio State matches Michigan typo for typo

Buckeyes send

In a development that is almost too weird to be true, Ohio State has matched rival Michigan in total of known typos sent to a single recruit.

Less than a week after four-star running back Mike Weber of Detroit Cass Tech caused snickers across the Internet by posting a picture of a fake ESPN: The Magazine cover fashioned for him by Michigan recruiters and listing him as Michigan's "All-Amercian" RB, Weber shared a similar error from Ohio State.

The irony was not lost on Weber, who reportedly has a top five including the Buckeyes and Wolverines along with Michigan State, Tennessee and Wisconsin.

Maybe proofreaders will be the next big-ticket item in the college football recruiting arms race.

UPDATE:

After the authenticity of the Ohio State recruiting material came into question, Weber returned to Twitter to confirm it indeed came from a member of the OSU staff.
