The Indianapolis Colts have signed inside linebacker D’Qwell Jackson. The deal is for four years, $22 million, FOX Sports 1 NFL Insider Mike Garafolo reports.

Jackson, who struggled badly against the run the past two years, will likely be a better fit for the Colts’ 4-3 scheme.

The veteran linebacker played eight seasons with the Cleveland Browns before the team released him Feb. 8.

Before joining Indianapolis, Jackson had visits with the Broncos, Titans and Dolphins.

Jackson has played 97 games with 96 starts, compiling 891 career tackles, 11.5 sacks, eight interceptions, five forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries.
