In 1998, New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter was already an All-Star, while Todd Frazier was a Jersey kid who just won the Little League World Series.

Fast-forward to 2014 -- Jeter is still an All-Star and so is Frazier, the third baseman for the Cincinnati Reds.

Those facts alone are pretty cool, but when you add in photo documentation of the two events, the level of awesomeness increases exponentially.

As part of the championship-winning Toms River, N.J. team, Frazier and his team ere honored, with Frazier getting to meet Jeter and stand next to the 24-year-old at Yankee Stadium. Like Frazier, Jeter is also a New Jersey native.

Tuesday night's MLB All-Star Game marked Jeter's last and Frazier's first -- just another poetic passing of the guard from this year's midsummer classic.
