Joe Haden just recently signed a long-term contract to stay with the Browns. According to NFL Network, it was a good move.

Haden was ranked as the 39th best player in the NFL according to NFL Network’s The Top 100 Players of 2014.

On the segment that was aired on Wednesday night revealing numbers 31-40, teammates Josh Gordon and Jordan Cameron talked about Haden.

"He enjoys being out there so much," Gordon said. "He’s almost child-like for his love for the game."

"He’s got an energy about him and the Cleveland fans feed off of that," Cameron said. "He’s emotional. He’s always smiling."

Pettine quote sparks war of words

Haden was the highest Browns player revealed to date, which is voted on only by current NFL players.

Gordon called Haden a "top-tier, possibly top two" cornerback in the NFL.

"He covers the best receiver every game and shuts them down," Cameron said.

Seven-time Pro Bowler Joe Thomas is a good candidate to be ranked in the top 30 which will be aired in the coming weeks.
