Sergei Bobrovsky is getting noticed for his excellent week in goal.

The Blue Jackets' net minder was named the NHL's "First Star" of the week for March 10-16.

Bobrovsky lifted the Jackets to two wins with a 1.58 goals against average and .950 save percentage. He gave up just one goal each to the Red Wings and Wild, then stopped two of Minnesota's four shootout attempts to help the Jackets to victory.

Columbus earned five points in three games last week and is currently tied with the Rangers for third place in the Metro.

In his last 25 games, Bobrovsky has been stellar, notching an 18-5-2 record with a 2.13 GAA and .932 save percentage.

The Jackets next take the ice Tuesday against the Hurricanes.
