The game that really put Manziel on the map, the freshman took the Aggies into Tuscaloosa in 2012 and led them to a late-season 29-24 victory over No. 1 Alabama.
Manziel became the first freshman to win college football's top honor, finishing ahead of Notre Dame senior linebacker Manti Te'o.

Signed, sealed, delivered
After controversy involving autograph signing, Manziel was suspended for the first half of Texas A&M’s 2013 opener against Rice. It didn’t make much difference, as Manziel tore it up in the second half, throwing three touchdowns in just eight passes.
If you thought Johnny Football could only show off on the gridiron, he dispelled that myth when he posted an Instagram video of him slamming some basketballs home.
The final game of Manziel’s collegiate career was fittingly dramatic. The Johnny Football legend was furthered as the quarterback led his Aggies on a 21-point second-half comeback in a 52-48 win over Duke in the Chick-fil-A Bowl.
