Vikings rookie kicker
Blair Walsh has garnered honors for his performance in Sunday's overtime victory over Jacksonville.
Walsh was named the NFC’s Special Teams Player of the Week after going a perfect 4-4 on field goals, including a 55-yarder to send the game into overtime, where he kicked a 38-yard field goal that turned out to be the game winner.
Walsh is the first rookie kicker in team history to win NFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors. Ryan Longwell was the last to take home the honors, doing so in 2008.
