EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. – Before the Minnesota Vikings started rookie minicamp this weekend, the team finalized contracts with three draft picks and added another undrafted rookie to the roster who would participate in the minicamp.

Minnesota signed guard David Yankey and cornerbacks Kendall James and Jabari Price. The three players received the standard four-year rookie contracts for their draft position. The Vikings also signed Fresno State guard Austin Wentworth, bringing the team's undrafted rookie total to 16 on the roster.

Yankey, from Stanford, was Minnesota's fifth-round draft pick last weekend in the NFL Draft. James was a sixth-round draft pick out of Maine and Price was the team's final selection in the seventh round out of North Carolina.

The Vikings placed guard Josh Samuda, who injured an ankle in voluntary minicamp in April, on injured reserve after he cleared waivers. Samuda was waived last week to make room on the 90-man roster for the team's draft picks and undrafted free-agent signings.

Minnesota wraps up its three-day rookie minicamp on Sunday.
