Wild's Scandella has successful hip surgery

Marco Scandella underwent successful left arthroscopic hip surgery on Tuesday afternoon, the Minnesota Wild announced. The 27-year-old defenseman is expected to make a full recovery and be ready for next season.

Scandella played in 71 games for the Wild in 2016-17, tallying four goals and nine assists. He has 89 points in his seven-year NHL career, all spent in the Wild organization.
