MINNEAPOLIS – The WNBA announced Monday that Lynx forward Maya Moore has been honored as the Western Conference Player of the Week for the games played between Aug. 16 and Aug. 19. On the week, Moore averaged 19.2 points per game, second-best in the league, and her .609 field goal percentage was sixth-best in the league.
This season, Moore is averaging 15.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. Her performances this week helped the Lynx clinch a playoff berth on Sunday.
