Boston bar takes 'shot' at Seguin
The well-known bar Cask 'N Flagon sent out the following tweet shortly after the news landed:
@TheCasknFlagon: The Boston nightclub scene will be better w/o #tylerseguin demanding entry
As will be, the message began to take on a life of its own, forcing the bar across from Fenway Park to quickly delete the tweet and explain its message.
To clarify: the tweet regarding the pro athlete was intended to be humorous. For the record the Cask has never denied him entry.— Cask 'N Flagon (@TheCasknFlagon) July 4, 2013
However, tweeters rolled in with their comments.
@TheCasknFlagon I thought it was pretty hilarious. Will exchange my money for your product if ever in Boston.— Pete Shandro (@PeteShandro) July 4, 2013
Please @TheCasknFlagon no need to apologize for using twitter the way a Boston Sports bar should: To have some fun and talk smack.— Nick Savarese (@NickSava) July 4, 2013
