Seguin's golf stunt sure to make Stars fans cringe Hockey players are tough, but if something had gone wrong in Tyler Seguin's latest stunt, he might have suffered an injury even a hockey player wouldn't be able to rebound from. Glenn James / NHLI By Mike Cole NESN Jul 18, 2014 at 12:25p ET Hockey players are tough, but if something had gone wrong in Tyler Seguin's latest stunt, he might have suffered an injury even a hockey player wouldn't be able to rebound from. The Dallas Stars forward helped host the sixth annual TFP Charity Golf Tournament on Thursday, and he stole the show. That's not because of anything Seguin did with a golf club in his hands, but rather with what he did with a golf ball on his pants. Equipped with a protective cup, Seguin willingly let another golfer hit a driver off of his crotch. Luckily for Seguin, things went off without a hitch. The tee shot was taken by Todd Keirstead, whose Twitter profile lists him as "a true golf entertainer." He's known for these types of trick shots, and this isn't the first time he's pulled this off this shot on an NHL player. Ask Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban. It takes a lot of, well, you know, to follow through with that kind of stunt.
