The Stanley Cup Playoffs are often praised as being one of the most thrilling and enjoyable postseason experiences in all of sports, but they also have some of the best commercials.

The NHL routinely knocks their Cup ads out of the park, and they've done it once again this year with their initial effort. The ad features Liev Schreiber's golden pipes poetically explaining the Stanley Cup, the best trophy in sports and a "perfectly imperfect grail."

If you weren't ready for the NHL playoffs already, this ad should get the blood flowing and the goosebumps goosebumping. We've still got a month to go before the postseason starts, too, so the league has set the bar pretty high for whatever ads come next.
