Canucks get good news on Sedin injury

Vancouver Canucks get good news on Henrik Sedin, with no fracture

The Vancouver Canucks say Henrik Sedin has no broken bones in his right foot.

Head coach Alain Vigneault said before Thursday night's game at Minnesota that a CT scan came back clean. Sedin took part in the morning skate, and Vigneault said he'd be a game-time decision to play the Wild.

Sedin was hit in the foot in the last game at Nashville by a slap shot from Predators defenseman Kevin Klein.

Not only is Sedin the team captain and fifth in the NHL with 57 points, but he has the second-longest current streak in the league of consecutive games played with 552. Calgary Flames defenseman Jay Bouwmeester was at 559 entering Thursday.
